Also if patient is obese the doctor may advise the person to lose weight, which can help improve symptoms.
To prevent flatfeet an individual should wear an orthodontic device to help the development of arches. Avoid excessive weight because obesity can increase your chances of developing flat feet. You should also rest your feet after standing for a long period of time. Diabetes increases your chances of developing flat feet, so you must control your blood sugar level. Also, exercise your foot and leg muscle so that you are less likely to develop flat feet.
